sow what is the purpose of having a StudioLive for a studio, when it will be cheaper to use Firestudio? Same preamps... StudioLIve if worthless for a studio. No midi, no DAW control, just turns into a big interface that takes up space... I would like to see videos of StudioLives' benefits in the studio other than just an interface.
YOU'RE RIGHT TO A DEGREE...YOU'RE GETTING THE USE OF THE FAT CHANNEL EFFECTS. THEY'RE REALLY NICE...IT'S REALLY MADE TO BE A LIVE RECORDING TOOL. IT JUST HAPPENS TO WORK FOR US STUDIO ONE USERS TOO. UNFORTUNATELY IT'S NOT AS INTUITIVE AS FAR AS CONTROLLING THE DAW AS WE WOULD LIKE. I'M QUITE SURE THAT THEY'RE CONSIDERING THAT FOR THE NEXT MIXER.. I KNOW THAT I'M BLOWING UP THEIR PHONE LINES WITH THE REQUEST FOR BETTER DAW CONTROL AND MOTORIZED FADERS...LOL
